Description: When first seen from the hallway, one will note flickering firelight dancing around beyond the archway.  Th= is was the ensconced everburning flame and also the salamanders cavorting about.  They had posted one of their numbe= r as lookout. They were slain by Pottiphar, Zam, Ashi, Nezzar, Rakkahemmet, and Akeem.

 

CE: This chamber is a 25 by 15 Rectangle made of Unworked Stone  = ;            &n= bsp;      

Description: The room is unlighted but is found to have two oil-burning Arabian lamps on= a shelf on the eastern wall.  A = large, brass urn rests between them filled with an ample supply of thin black oil.=   A huge set of brass double doors g= races the south wall.  It is covered= in ancient glyphs and heavily barred from this side.

·      =    Feature:  Akeem studied the in the urn = and found them to be different from that in the lamps.  This thin black oily substance woul= d burn only poorly and with a rancid odor.  

·      =    Feature: Writing inscribed on the door panels is in a very ancient tongue. 

·      =    Exit 1: Northwest corner, Open archway to P3.

·      =    Exit 2: On the right side of south wall is an exotic Double Door (Barred)

·      =    Monster: 1 Night Hag and her Nightmare were encountered when exiting this room.=
